FluoroQuant® Chemical Test Kits

The FluoroQuant® Test Kits are the fastest, quantitative fluorometric tests based on a solid-phase or immunoaffinity column clean-up. They are USDA/GIPSA approved and AOAC Performance Tested. These tests provide a wide quantitation range without dilution steps. This product is simple enough for field use in grain, feed and food handling facilities, but it is also appropriate for analytical laboratories. FluoroQuant® Afla

The FluoroQuant® Afla Test Kit is a rapid, quantitative fluorometric test for detection of total aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2) based on a solid-phase extraction clean-up.

The FluoroQuant® Afla test is validated with GIPSA approval for use in corn, corn meal, popcorn, rice, sorghum (milo), wheat, soy, and corn soy blend. The FluoroQuant® Afla Test is also validated for use in raw unblanched peanuts, and raw blanched peanuts. The Kit can be performed in 5 minutes with a detection limit of 5 ppb.
The FluoroQuant® Afla Kit can be used for testing single samples or multiple samples making it ideal for a grain-receiving station or quality control laboratory. It is easy to use and the costs per test are low and include all accessories and materials necessary to run the test.

FluoroQuant® Afla Plus

The FluoroQuant® Afla Plus test kit is a rapid, quantitative fluorometric test for detection of total aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2), based on a solid phase extraction clean-up. The FluoroQuant® Afla Plus test is validated for use in corn, raw blanched and unblanched peanuts, raw almonds, decorticated cottonseed, cottonseed meal and is AOAC approved for certain matrices.

This product is simple enough for field use in grain, feed and food-handling facilities, but is also appropriate for analytical laboratories. The test kit is available in two different formats with acetonitrile or methanol extraction method.

FluoroQuant® Afla IAC

The FluoroQuant® Afla IAC Test Kit is a rapid, quantitative fluorometric test for detection of total aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2) using an immunoaffinity column for sample purification.

The FluoroQuant® Afla IAC test was developed for use with corn, corn screenings, distillers dried grains with soluble (DDGs) and peanuts. A special method using methanol extraction has been developed for the detection of aflatoxins in peanuts.

FluoroQuant® DON

The FluoroQuant® DON test kit is a quantitative fluorometric test for detection of deoxynivalenol based on a solid phase extraction clean-up. The FluoroQuant® DON test is validated for use in wheat, wheat midds, wheat bran, wheat flour, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, malt, barley, corn, oats, and red dog.
FluoroQuant® DON is available in kits of 25 tests and has a broad detection range that meets GIPSA requirements. Each kit comes complete with all test and accessory materials such as columns, filter paper, pipette tips, cuvettes and reagents.

FluoroQuant® Reader

The Romer Labs® FQ-Reader allows fluorometric detection and quantification of mycotoxins and is used in conjunction with Romer Labs FluoroQuant® Test Kits.
The FQ-Reader is a sensitive, easy-to-use laboratory instrument which measures the fluorescence in samples and calculates ppm or ppb utilizing customized data processing and calibration routines. This provides accurate ppm or ppb results. A thermal printer is available for data print out, or the FQ-Reader can transfer data directly to a computer.
