MycoSep®/MultiSep® columns
The MycoSep®/MultiSep® 112 AflaZon, 224 AflaZon and 226 AflaZon+ columns apply to several toxins (such as aflatoxins and zearalenone).
- MycoSep®/MultiSep® 226 AflaZon+ column is used for complex matrices with more interferences, such as gluten meal, feed and processed food.
- MycoSep®/MultiSep® 224 AflaZon columns are suitable for grain and other simple matrices.
- MycoSep®/Multisep® 112 AflaZon is suitable for analytical procedures where only small amounts of extract are required (e.g. AflaCup®).
The MycoSep®/MultiSep® 228 AflaPat column contains an additional clean up layer compared to the MycoSep®/MultiSep® 226 AflaZon+.
- MycoSep®/MultiSep® 228 AflaPat is very suitable for clean up of herbs, spices, chocolate, maple syrup, corn gluten and silage.
Why use MultiSep®/MycoSep® clean up?
- If the alternative is liquid-liquid partition the lower consumption of hazardous solvents and the huge reduction of working time is a clear advantage of MultiSep®/MycoSep® columns. The simple one step clean up with MultiSep®/MycoSep® excludes many sources for error.

Star™ Immunoaffinity columns (IAC)
AflaStar™ and AflaStar™ M1 columns come in 3mL syringes (0.5ml gel bead volume).
The AflaStar™ Fit column comes in the smaller 1ml syringes (0.2ml gel bead volume).
AflaStar™ and AflaStar™ Fit columns contain immobilized monoclonal antibodies specific for Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2 at affinity ratios optimal to toxin occurrence in nature, while AflaStar™ M1 columns contain high affinity antibodies for the metabolite M1. Their ability to endure high ratios of extraction solvent in the applied solution results in low volume application and reduced clean up time.
AflaStar™, AflaStar™ Fit and AflaStar™ M1 columns guarantee high flexibility with regard to the extraction solution used. As long as the maximum tolerated solvent percentage has not been exceeded, all types of extracts based on acetonitrile/water or methanol/water may be used, whatever the extract that is proven to be the best solution for a specific commodity.
- AflaStar™ and AflaStar™ Fit columns are designed for purification of Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2 from very complex matrices.
AflaStar™ Fit can also be used in automatized clean up due to its size.
- AflaStar™ M1 columns are designed for purification of Aflatoxin M1, the harmful metabolite of Aflatoxin B1 that appears in milk and dairy products, and is applicable to control the very low regulatory limits established for this toxin.
