MycoSep®/MultiSep® columns

The MycoSep®/MultiSep® 229 Ochra columns are a one step clean up column developed for the purification of Ochratoxins.

  • MycoSep®/MultiSep® 229 Ochra columns has been validated for corn (maize), barley, wheat, rice, raisins, green coffee and red wine.

The MycoSep®/MultiSep® 229 Ochra columns are very cost and time efficient alternative to immunaffinity columns. In cases when a very complex matrix has to be analysed e.g. roasted coffee, liquorice or others we recommend the use of our Star Immunoaffinity columns.

Why use MultiSep®/MycoSep® clean up?

  • If the alternative is liquid-liquid partition the lower consumption of hazardous solvents and the huge reduction of working time is a clear advantage of MultiSep®/MycoSep® columns. The simple one step clean up with MultiSep®/MycoSep® excludes many sources for error.

Star™ Immunoaffinity columns (IAC)

We provide two Immunoaffinity columns for the clean up of Ochratoxin A. OchraStar™ columns come in 3mL syringes (0.5ml gel bead volume) and OchraStar™ Fit columns come in 1ml syringes (0.25ml gel bead volume). They contain immobilized monoclonal antibodies specific for Ochratoxin A. Their ability to endure high ratios of extraction solvents in the applied solution results in low volume application and reduced clean up time.

OchraStar™ and OchraStar™ Fit columns guarantee high flexibility with regard to the used extraction solution. They work with extracts based on different ratios of acetonitrile/water, methanol/water or 1% sodium bicarbonate solution. As long as the maximum tolerated solvent percentage has not been exceeded, all types of extracts may be used, whatever the extract that is proven to be the best solution for a specific commodity.
  • OchraStar™ and OchraStar™ Fit columns are designed for purification of Ochratoxin A from very complex matrices.
