Description
AgraQuant® drug residue test kits are accurate and reliable direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) which operate on the basis of competition between the drug/metabolite in the sample and the drug enzyme conjugate for a limited number of specific antibody binding sites. AMOZ in the tissue samples is first derivatised with 2-nitrobenzoic aldehyde, and then by an ethyl acetate extraction method, which increases the sensitivity and specificity of the test. This is then followed by a clean-up step involving the use of iso-octane/chloroform.
