Description & Properties

RapidChek® Histamine is a ready-to-use test kit designed to screen frozen and fresh raw fish for the presence of histamine. Since histamine is a byproduct of certain bacterial growth and is considered evidence of decomposition, conducting this test is mandatory before food processing to ensure compliance with food safety criteria.
